The Archeology Lab
Lab work is conducted in the Archeology Lab at Rice University. The lab is in room 103, Sewell Hall. (map)
We usually meet two Mondays a month (the first and third Mondays following the monthly HAS meeting), 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. We have two separate projects underway: Fine sorting and initial identification and analysis of 4WH17 (Barnhill) artifacts, and comparative analysis of Powell site faunal material. Obviously, numerous skill sets are needed in the lab for these efforts.
